Structured VELO Training (at the VELO Sports Center):
Presented by Performance Cycle Coaching. The SVT session is a weekly opportunity to raise your fitness, endurance, speed, and skill level. Led by an experienced PCC coach, the SVT is a chance for everyone, from beginner to pro, to train at a level commensurate with skill. These sessions are highly recommended prior to attending more advanced training sessions and races at the VELO Sport Center, such as the VELO Jam, Monday Night Sprints, and the Omnium Series. Everyone will walk away from the sessions getting plenty of technical feedback, having worked out hard, and most importantly had fun! Track warm-up starts 8:15am SHARP!

VELO Coached Open (at the VELO Sports Center):
Presented by Performance Cycle Coaching. Sprint/pursuit focused session with coach led training and feedback. Riders are welcome to bring their own workout and/or coach too. PCC coach will be on hand to do timing, holds, moto work etc., and will facilitate the running and order of the session. Roller/trainer warm-up is mandatory.

VELO Sprint (at the VELO Sports Center):
Presented by Performance Cycle Coaching. Designed to improve all aspects of your sprint ability using various sprint-specific training drills. These will include moto-paced exercises, skills sessions and practice tactic exercises. We will run through all the various sprint disciplines as the season progress, Match Sprint, Team Sprint, Time Trials and Keirin. Roller/trainer warm-up is mandatory.

VELO Start Gate (at the VELO Sports Center):
Presented by Performance Cycle Coaching. This class is suitable for all riders wanting to advance their technique. These sessions will hone your technique and confidence and make you as fast out of the gate/at standing starts as possible, getting you ready for the big events ahead.

Saturday’s Sprinter Class (at the San Diego Velodrome):
Performance Cycle Coaching sprint-focused workouts for individuals interested in improving their finish. Participants will be exposed to all aspects of track sprinting: Pure, short distance speed. Since most races are not won solo, endurance riders are encouraged to attend. The longest efforts will be limited to 3K. Goal development will be discussed and a workout plan can be created to accommodate your goals. Open to all riders 14yrs and up.
