- Coach Kolie brings a high level of expertise to his coaching with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston University where is specialized in metabolism and physiology. Using this sound base in science he has written programs that have won his riders national championships and medals in a wide range of cycling disciplines including road racing, mountain biking, cyclo-cross, time trialing and track sprints. A truly versatile coach, he also coached the MIT University road team to two consecutive conference wins in 2016 and retaining their title in 2017.
As a life long cyclist, coach Kolie has also found success himself, medalling in both the sprint and kilo as a master’s athlete. When younger, he was also both an instructor and competitor in Taekwondo, competing internationally including a Junior Olympics.
He is an experienced physiologist, with Pro Tour teams and various national teams using him as a consultant.
Coach Kolie is excited to be joining the PCC coaching team and being able to offer his knowledge and proven program-building skills to a wider range of riders. He is open to riders of all levels and any cycling discipline. He would love to help you “Maximize Your Potential!”
